Employee records can carry job, contract, financial-benefit, tax, workflow and reference information while approval and locking states help protect controlled HR records. HR does not sit outside the ERP: employee identity can connect to approvals, expenses, leave and other operational processes.
Employee Self Service supports requests such as leave while HR administrators retain visibility of the request, dates, leave type and workflow state.
